Current artificial lawn perimeter fixing methods are generally improvised using standard off the shelf building materials – i.e. wood, cement, plastic, nails, screws – with each contractor claiming their method is ‘the way to go’ and better than others. We are pleased to offer the very best Louvered roof Pergolas, ideal for any outdoor space.

Setts (granite and sandstone etc.) are also in our Premium Range. Sandstone setts create fantastic looking natural stone driveways. A sandstone driveway is an extremely hardwearing and aesthetically pleasing. Sandstone setts / granite setts are natural stone that have been cut or split into cobble size. They are laid on a full mortar bed on a reinforced concrete base and then hand pointed to create the ultimate looking paving. Every stone is unique and is perfect for use in designer driveways. Installing a sandstone sett driveway is very labour intensive and is limited to only the very best skilled installers. The cost of a sandstone driveway is around twice the price of a block paved driveway and the results below show why.

Stabilised gravel looks like a normal gravel driveway but with an extremely tough honeycomb stabilisation system underneath which prevents gravel from going into the road and all over the rest of the garden. The gravel is firm and needs little maintenance.
The honeycomb sheets are laid on a subbase and then filled by gravel. Stabilised gravel provides an excellent low maintenance SUDS compliant surface suitable for drives and paths. Stabilised gravel extremely tough and can withstand heavy vechicles driving over. Our typical gravel driveway will cost approximately £75 + VAT a Sq Metre.

The highway code states.
Do not reverse from a side road into a main road. When using a driveway, reverse in and drive out if you can.
Some planning authorises will not grant planning permission on certain properties if you are unable to drive in and drive out of your driveway without reversing on to a main road. A car Turntable is the perfect solution, simply drive in then turnabout and then drive out. Simple.

A gate adds security to your property. From preventing unwanted guests, protecting your vehicles, keeping your dogs in and stopping your young children running into a busy road we have installed gates for many reasons. For added security the addition of a gate is essential.
We install manual and motorised gates, wooden and metal. The automated gates come with a variety of options with video intercoms to mobile phone controlled. All our gates are made to measure.

The simple answer is no, as long as…
– If your drive slopes towards the road a channel needs to take the water and discharge it into a soak away (see below)
– If the drive slopes towards the house a channel takes the water to a soak away (see below)
– Resin bound gravel or Permeable paving does not need planning either
Our designer will be able to discuss what is required during the free design consultation.
‘New or replacement driveways or paving over 5m2 located between the front of a house and the street – unless it is permeable paving or drains onto a permeable area in the garden will need planning permission.
No Planning Permissions is required if.
Permeable paving is used or when using standard paving rainwater is directed onto a permeable area in the garden such as a soak away, just like the driveways below. Conventional paving simply slopes so that water runs off into the garden and is stored temporarily or is channelled to a soak away. Then the water can soak into the ground or evaporate just like the driveways below.
We are fully trained and recommended by Marshalls to install their permeable paving products.
Permeable paving is designed to allow rainwater to filter through gaps between the blocks into a permeable sub-base below with enough space to store water for a short time.
Planning permission will take upto 8 weeks and cost £200 and you will not necessarily be permitted.
